We do not allow finances to come in the way of our ability to share the Gospel through song! While we always hope to cover our expenses for travel, etc, there are often ways to facilitate all of that without a substantial financial guarantee. A Legacy of Excellence
Since its foundation in 1958, The Inspirationals Quartet has remained a beacon in the gospel music scene, originally celebrated as "Bob Wills & The Inspirationals." Under the leadership of Bob Wills, the ensemble soared to fame, showcasing a lineup of gifted vocalists. This roster has featured distinguished artists such as Curtis Elkins, Jim Murray, and Roger McDuff as tenors; Dale Shipley, Larry Gatlin, Jim Wesson, Jory Walden, and Gary MacSpadden in the lead roles; along with celebrated bass singers like Big John Hall, Ray Burdett, and Jim Tucker. Their collective contributions have been instrumental in crafting the group's rich musical legacy.
Carrying forward this remarkable legacy, Bob Wills' sons—Bob Jr., Don, and Ron—have assumed pivotal roles within the group. With Bob Jr. at the helm as Musical Director, Don's deep bass, and Ron's warm baritone (who also doubles as the emcee), they're keeping the family tradition alive. They're accompanied by Ralph Green, a member since 1972, who dominates as the lead singer, and John Rulapaugh, whose tenor voice continues the group's tradition of excellence. Bryan Elliott rounds out the lineup as the pianist, bringing unmatched skill to the ensemble.
Now known as The Inspirationals Quartet of Texas, they honor their rich heritage while setting new benchmarks in gospel music. Their unwavering commitment and synergy breathe new life into the storied past of "Bob Wills & The Inspirationals," ensuring their music continues to inspire and uplift generations to come, securing their esteemed spot in the annals of gospel music history.
